For those who come to comment later, it's a joke. And for those who didn't get the joke, try to give people the benefit of a doubt every once in a while, and especially when you see that what is being said appears to be completely outrageous. Some people call it sarcasm. The reason he's never lost to a grandmaster is obviously because he's never played one. How many professional chess players have you heard of who have never lost to a grandmaster? And how likely is it that one such person, if he existed, would be bragging about being better than GothamChess (and not even Magnus) in the comment section of one of his videos?

hanging a blanket or quilt on the wall you face while streaming may be an effective short-term approach to damping room acoustics. the sound pressure level is likely greatest between you and that wall, and attenuation at that wall will greatly reduce the sound that can reach and bounce off of other walls. Would love to see hi level players play a different variant where the black king and queen are switched in the starting position. Still very much chess but it would promote more opposite side castling and some openings like the Scandi completely disappear.

I mean ....I'm not even from India and I have mad props for Vishy ....the dude is in his 50s and keeping pace with some of the best guys in the world who are half his age ....5 time world champ and frankly a great ambassador for chess and for India....I'd love to play the guy otb with no clock ...tea biscuits and let's chat and play ....sure Kasparov is probably one of my top chess idols and lots of the top players today I'd love to learn from ...but vishy is the sort of guy I'd love to play " MY" chess against....no clocks no pressure no rating or crowds let's just have fun and talk ...what a guy

Yeah respect to Vishy for really expanding international chess beyond the US and Russia/Former Soviet Nations. Without him we probably wouldn't be seeing such a huge influx of extremely talented Indian players especially.

You missed the idea that if the King doesn't take the rook on f3, black would've had Qd1# so white playing Qd4 was one of the only moves.

Instead of taking the bishop with the king or the rook I would have taken the free pawn on D5 pinning the queen to move then taking the bishop.
