but if I'm doing a split color project, do i have to skip every first stitch in the rest of the rounds after the color change?

so this is for continuous rounds or joined?

Can you show how you changed the color back to yellow for the second method?

It's the same thing as the color change to the black but you would just switch the colors! :) If you are trying to color change again immediately after the first row of color change, you would combine the beginning and the end of the changing color method. So yarn over the last half of the single crochet of the black row with the yellow and skip the first stitch (the slip stitch from the previous round), and go into that second stitch of black to do a slip stitch and chain with the yellow.

if I’m trying to change the color just for a single stich then go back to the other color, how am I supposed to do that??

You’ll use the first method and just change colors twice in a row.

@@themaryjay tried that but while I do that it creates a second stich of the color im just trying to do 1 single Stich with before I can start the other color. am I doing something wrong??

@@dis1jan are you starting the color change in the stitch before the one where you want to see the color change? Since you’re doing two in a row, you wouldn’t complete a full single crochet in the second color. You’ll need to again switch the color before you yarn over the second time like what I did at 0:47 for the first color change
