Yeah, you can tell in her speech that she is declining really fast. A sense of normality comforted her and probably made her death more peaceful. It's strange looking at it from a different perspective, going to the gym when you are dying and exercise will make no difference, but it is what she loved.

At this stage she was desperately trying to cling on to normality but you can see and here she is really unwell rip 🙏

She taught us all a lesson on how to live. She still amazes me all these years later. Never seen anyone more alive than Emily Hayward Hasan.

I'm thankful she lived life right to the end. No bedridden, drug induced state for weeks on end.

I was just thinking that the other day, she would have been like a caged tiger if she had been in hospital or hospice. It's a huge loss but I'm glad she lived a full life right to the end. Her doctors and nurses said she was a miracle... living with brain tumours and not having symptoms. I love watching the vlogs where she is laughing and happily getting on and off trains, joking with the Royal Marsden staff and just being so positive and hopeful. Miss her every day xx

My father recently passed of prostate cancer and he was bedridden for 8 months before he passed and he was like skin and bone with no part of his personality left. It took everything from him it was heartbreaking. I actually didn’t even realise you could stay this aware and healthy-ish right up until the end

@@lolly5453 yeah you’re not wrong. Thing is I wasn’t touched by cancer at all until my dad was diagnosed 3 years ago. He was the first person I knew to get it and it killed him. It’s such a cruel, nasty disease. It’s rare these days to not be affected by it though and that’s the awful reality. Thank you so much for your kind words, we will get there in the end but life will never ever be the same 💙

She had every right to be proud of herself. She was a soldier who kicked cancers ass. She won. Cancer never truly wins.

Many would have been in their bed at this point.. She was a warrior..

In hospice we see this in people coming close to death. They all of a sudden get a huge burst of energy before death. Been a Hospice nurse for almost 10 years.

Yep....my mother had this. Even my PETS have had this. Watching this now, it's clear that her cognition was starting to go...she was having trouble remembering everything she'd done the day before. Aisha had to prompt her. I guess that when I watched this for the first time I didn't want to see it, because she looked so glowy and so happy. So sad for the potential lost in this amazing young woman, so sad for her loved ones and of course for her beloved Aisha.

brilliantatbreakfast yup. Your 100 percent correct. We have families get all excited thinking their loved ones were getting better. A doctor I work with said this increase in energy happens because body is making a last effort to try to survive. Our priest that works at our hospice said it’s gods way of giving the dying the energy for final goodbyes. What he said gives me goosebumps. Especially this was their anniversary. God made sure Emily was able to give her goodbyes to her wife and family.

Dawn Hirst if you can’t handle the truth about cancer n death then this wasn’t the channel for you. If u were a regular follower u would of heard Aisha and Emily telling us results that were scary n horrific. They didn’t sugar coat anything. Emily wanted peoples opinions n comments that were truth n to the point. So my guess is your young n new here. I myself have stage four cancer. I to will one day be in hospice. This is the reality of life. So yes.......it needed to be said.

Going back and watching all of Emily’s videos. Its simultaneously amazing how well she did up until the very end, but also sad that in her final days and weeks she struggled to get to the gym and even articulate words.

Watching this again now and realising that she died exactly a week after this. So bloody sad sweetheart 💔🕯🌸🌈 Miss you so much xxx

RIP Emily - she looked so well its really hard to believe she died just 7 days later. She taught me how to live and I dont even have cancer. l miss her videos so much already. xx

as far as i know, she died because a tumor hit a vessel in her causing it to break. maybe if that didnt happen, she would still be here. but you know.. maybe its better this way. i mean, if she was still here, she would probably be bedridden and on pain control drugs, so the fact that she died quickly means that she could live life properly until the last day. RIP

I am 54 years old, if I had half the mental strength you had Emily I would be a happier person. You have however taught me how special life is and to grasp every day as if it is your last and make the most out of the good and the bad days. We all get too complacent about nonsensical things in life and forget the importance of being healthy and living life to the full. I will never tire of watching you and will continue to enjoy your vlogs and inspirations. You are a real tonic! Hope your gym is a good one up there!

Just take your time with the speech, my dad had brain damage in 3 parts of his brain when he was 50 years old. The brain can be retrained, it Is important to relax, take your time and engage in interesting conversations. Your doing so well Emily and Aisha is the best person to do this wth you, beautiful souls xx

What a beautiful girl she was, inside and out. Sad that I didn't know about her until she was gone, but the content she out out was great. Every mini milestone is an achievement. Last video I commented on, I could seriously barely type. Now I'm just back from a 7k run!
