Bethany Leigh I am with you Ms. Leigh. I rocked a bald head and I looked nice, and loved it. I am still tempted to do it again, even though my hair came back. It's hot as heck where I live and it was freeing to not have to worry about hair. Rock your beautiful pate without hats when not in the sun. Love it. Take the ducking hats off. Didn't want to curse so you get the point...lol...said with love Emily., right Aisha?!lol.

I have cried thinking how I would feel if it was our daughter, however you have both shown that positive mental attitude takes one a long long way. Be blessed and know we’re praying for you. Aisha was a rockstar through all of this. Her positivity and love for Emily outshined the cancer..and emily was a beacon of positivity and strength. I was so sad when she passed away..but she really did live right until she passed. Rip emily❤

"I can't complain" - that just sums you up Emily. I'm sure I'd be complaining. I was complaining and my nodule skin thing wasn't even a tumour - it was a long word but basically a weird warty thing. But I went because of your video on how your melanoma started - so thanks Emily.

You actually look good and your hat on looks fine too. As you say, you'll still the same person with or without hair. I like it!

You remind me of my sister. Although she lost her battle with her illness after 5 mos. in hospital she was always upbeat. I ask her once how that was possible and she told me to take a stroll on the childrens cancer ward. It can always be worse and you look marvelous! You look better without hair than many people do with! Your wife is so wonderful with each massive step you take and is such a trooper. Stay strong together!

This young lady is a credit to her wife and family. I started watching her vlogs last week after stumbling on them by chance. I smile whenever I see a new posting. I have been incredibly moved by her attitude, bravery and sheer determination to enjoy life.

Hair or no hair, you are gorgeous inside and out. Never ever doubt that. ❤ Also, kind of a funny/sweet story to go with it. When my grandmother got breast cancer the first time, the chemo and radiation made her hair fall out until she decided to shave it off. My older brother and I were 4 and 6 at the time (younger brother wasn't born yet), so Gran always told Mama before she brought us over to call and tell her before so she could put her wig on. She was so terrified that seeing her bald would scare me and Wesley. One day, Mama forgot. Wesley and I walked in, saw Gran bald... And she nearly panicked. Then, we smiled and hugged her, not saying a word about her being bald. Gran looked at Mama and laughed, saying, "Well, they were certainly scared, huh?" It's one of the greatest memories I have of Gran. Betty Hopson: June 23, 1940 - October 27, 2002.

Sweet. My great aunt had ovarian cancer and shaved off her hair and wore a wig that looked like the hair she had. I was 9 when she passed away. She was only 59.

I have a 13" scar on my chest and you have no hair. These are our badges of honour for daring to live another day! That day is all we have. Wear your badge with pride, Emily. I wish you day, after day, after day. #survivors

Aisha, I can not even imagine what you feel sometimes. I know these vlogs are about Emily but I wanted you to know I think you’re incredible and an awesome and supportive wife. Emily, I know it’s different for guys and girls but I lost my hair when I was in my early 30’s. You’re waaaaay hotter with a bald head than me. 😉😎

Personally Emily you did the right thing! It’s more devastating having it come out in clumps!!! It is an emotional thing that people who don’t have cancer understand. It will grow back thicker and better. You look amazing! I have been through this three times. Your rocking the bald beauty!!!!

Having it four times & five big surgeries, 45 CT scans, MRI’s, x-rays getting sepsis waking up with an Ileostomy bag for life from my last cancer surgery now on a clinical pill which I am still deciding wether to stop because of side effects & monthly doctor appointments for nine years I am getting tired. Emily is a good inspiration for everyone! The mind & body can only take so much! I have two girls I still want to see get married & that’s what’s keeps me going but they have seen so much & it’s been hard on all of us. Thanks for asking!

And even when they were cutting it, the short length just before the shaved suited so well. When you hair grows back it's gonna look great at every stage xxx love these two so much

Aisha is such a gem. You two were clearly meant to be. And hug that beautiful dog Cookie for me! She is gorgeous and dogs have healing powers, don't you know! You are beautiful and courageous and strong, Emily! Love ya both!

You rationalize things so well and the advice you give is second to none. If I was on a cancer journey I would follow your way of thinking. As you say you are the same person before and after you walk in that hospital. The same person who had long hair Vs the person who now has soft shaved head. I also love the videos as they show such a side to cancer I've not seen in videos before. The laughter, love and normality. I don't know why but I just love it. It's your style and it works. Don't change it. Both of you make me smile, cry and look forward to the next videos. Some days I am very low with depression as a result of losing my job and lifestyle I had because of numerous chronic pain and chronic immune conditions. But when I watch a video I make myself get up. I make myself do something nice, fun or boring. Anything to make me feel alive and still me. I have both of you to thank for that push. You are my inspiration. I honestly mean that from the heart XXX

I just found your channel a couple weeks ago and have spent far too much time going through and watching many of your videos. First of all - a huge congratulations to the two of you on your recent wedding. I wish you many, many years to come of happiness!! I do want to tell you that I was diagnosed with melanoma 20 years ago and I'm still going strong at 63 years of age. You will beat this cancer, Emily! You are an inspiration. I watched your skin cancer video the other day and my mum has an unusual mole on her face. I made her see the doctor and they have referred her to a dermatologist to get it checked out. Without your videos I probably wouldn't of even noticed. I'm really worried for her to find out if it is cancer or not. My Nan had grade 4 skin cancer so it does make me concerned. Your positivity is amazing and I always look forward to watching your videos x

I have alopecia, genetic, and I always try to tell myself “it’s just hair”. Doesn’t define me. But as a woman, not having hair or not a lot can be difficult. I have a daughter now and so I have to teach her by example that hair isn’t what defines us or makes us beautiful. I’ve actually been asked why I don’t just shave my head but I’m just not there, maybe I won’t ever be, but seeing how positive you were with shaving yours was very inspiring. You look so great! Definitely can rock it!!!

It’s almost a freeing kind of feeling once it’s done. I had much fun with wigs during my chemo. I had to laugh at Aisha’s comment about hats with hair sewn in!! You look great by the way!
