    Your comment about not knowing anyone catching walleyes on topwater reminded me of fishing the Mississippi River near St. Cloud, Minnesota, one evening last October and catching a 19-inch walleye on a Whopper Plopper 110mm loon colored lure while top water fishing for smallmouths.

    Keep reading the walleye top water comments and I'm so jealous of y'all, been fishing NY and surrounding tristate over 15 years and have yet to catch a walleye, yet had a buddy get one standing next to me on a bank of the Delaware (t-rig yum dinger though)maybe one will surprise me this morning when I go to feed the water puppies 😅 👊

    I watched you last video i would agree on good glasses not made of glass, Z87 ballistic glasses was a requirement in the U.S Army when i was in, i would say those ballistic glasses might be an option for punching and flipping with heavy oz sinkers. Oakley and wileyX make alot of Z87 ballistic glasses that look like actual sunglasses.

    The one and only walleye I ever caught was on a tiny strike king rocket shad....the walleye was about 14 inches. I was a newbie back then and didn't immediately know what it even was, I thought it looked incredibly prehistoric lol

    this video helped me a lot before i watched this video i was only throwing a spinnerbait cause that's what my dad uses and normally so do i but pier fishing is different i threw a frog and instantly i put in the weeds and reeled in an 8 pounder second cast this guy knows fishing

    After fishing from a kayak for the past year, I put braid to leader on all five of my set-ups. The pros outweigh the cons by a huge margin. I don't like the sound of it going through my guide's,I know it's making the same noise going through weeds and stuff but it gives me such killer hook set potential,even when I'm not really paying attention lol

    So was not me personally. But my boss on Mosquito Lake here in Ohio caught a 24” walleye on a toad in less than 2ft of water and it sharked the toad. He thought it was a giant bass but it was a walleye. Only person I know to ever have that happen

    If I was going to buy that rage bug or the space monkey for fishing in more dirty and deepish to deeper water and around boat docks, piers and structure in my local lake, would I want that rage bug or the space monkey? I watched a video of you the other day very much talking up the space monkey, sounded like you liked that one a lot. The space money looks like it may have more action and a slightly bigger profile.     They are usually 1/2 oz you can cast them a mile when you get your reel dialed in
