I’m reading the Bible in chronological order and I usually only read 1 chapter a day unless they are really short. I love watching along with my reading, highlighting and making notes! It’s taking me a long time but time well spent. Thank you so much!!!

I'm really enjoying these teachings. The old testament was difficult to read but now following along helps me understand in ways I could not before. Thank you.

Thank you Pastor Paul. Hezekiah did right in the sight of God Wow !. Even though he did not have a good example in his father Ahaz. He read the scripture and everything according to it. Praise God for good example.

I can't imagine what that was like for Hezekiah to hear the music of the Levites for the first time. I would love to hear what it sounded like, I can't even imagine!

One thing I always have loved about Charles Stanley is how he constantly enforces how the Bible teaches us to consult God in every matter. And I like it that I see you doing that too, pastor Paul. You're kind of an actor too. I like how you inject little personalities into these complicated names we're bombarded with. It helps to get the overall idea of the story and not get so hung up on how to pronounce strange names. And just when you get one down pat, there's another one! 😂

That's why I get upset when the crucifixion is spoken about. Everyone seems like it's a symbol but I see it as the most gruesome death imaginable. It has always been so upsetting to me

The thing that dawned on me was that the kings weren't fully enforcing the law. That is, justice required for heinous crimes like idolatry or murder etc. Its at that point that I realise why God gave those laws in the first place. Without enforcing the laws, there was nothing to stop the evil in the land. Lastly, it seems that while Ahaz didnt appreciate the discipline of the Lord it affected how Hezekiah ran his kingdom. So the punishment did serve its purpose

Thanks Pastor Paul ... sounds like you were describing this country when you were explaining pagan worship ... Verse 28:6 mentions 120,000 soldiers of Judah being killed by Israel in one day ... this is incredible considering that it's more than twice the number of US soldiers killed in the entire Vietnam War (58,000). Yeah, just p.o. God enough you can expect a heavy sword to fall. I'm afraid that's what's coming on us...

Read the book of romans especially chapter 6-8. We are submitting our flesh to the Lord and asking him to be LORD OUR FLESH. The flesh is corrupt and it rebellious. The MIND OF THE FLESH CANT SUBMIT TO THE 'SPIRIT' OF GOD because it is corrupt with SELF that's why Jesus said we must be BORN AGAIN of the SPIRIT. THE MIND OF THE SPIRIT SUBMIT TO CHRIST AS LORD OF OUR SPIRIT. Read romans 8:5-13, galatians chapter 5. When we submit our spiritual mind to Christ and walk in love SELFLESSNESS through calling on the Lord in belief and reading the word of God we receive deliverance of SELFISHNESS through the power of the Holy spirit. SIN IS SELFISHNESS AND PRIDE. WALKING IN THE SPIRIT IS SELFLESSNESS AND LOVE. All the character of the self/sin/the mind of the flesh is selfishness it screams out ME AND PRIDE. Read genesis chapter 3 where it all started. If you want to be delivered from and dark emotion: anger, lust, bitterness, unforgiveness, pride obey Christ by walking in LOVE and SERVANTHOOD with the help of the Holy spirit. Roman's 12::1-2 we submit the spiritual mind and body to Christ. To God be the glory🙏🏼🤗
