2 Brits On A travel Adventure To Yerevan Armenia 🇦🇲 🇬🇧

2 Brits On A travel Adventure To Yerevan Armenia 🇦🇲 🇬🇧
Join me and my son David on the craziest journey to Yerevan Armenia.
The Adventure begins in Riga Latvia where we board a Wizz Air flight to Kutaisi Georgia, with the aim of arriving in Yerevan as soon as possible.
Armed with no plan we land in Kutaisi at almost 1 am, with no internet connection and make our way to the Kutaisi Train Station. To our delight, the next train to Tbilisi is at 2:30am.
As we waited for the train to Tbilisi, we found ourselves at a deserted train station with only a wild dog to entertain us.
Stranded with no food, and no cash to get anything from a cash-only vending machine, the night watchman finally arrived. I thought our luck was changing and we would now get fed and sort out some internet. None of that happened!!!
We finally get on the overcrowded train and after almost 5 hours we arrive in Tbilisi in the early hours of the morning, to find everything is closed.
Now we are hungry and aggravated, but we stick to the mission and figure out how to get to Yerevan. So we hop in a cab and go to the Bus Station to take a minibus to Yerevan. This being my first time riding a Marshrutka from Tbilisi to Yerevan I did not know what to expect. I was firstly surprised and disappointed that the trip was another 6 hours, but also horrified once I saw how crazy the driver was.
If you enjoy adventure videos from the former Soviet Union and Central & Eastern Europe, then grab your vodka, some zakusky and join me as we go on the craziest of travel adventures to Yerevan in Armenia.

Dearest Justin, I’m thrilled to see you and your darling David back in Armenia. Thank goodness for the annoying algorithm for properly delivering you to us. Again, you provide such a unique perspective on travel. Your interactions with the locals are what sets you apart. I'm fluent in four languages, but would love to learn one more. You've inspired me a great deal. May you be blessed in all your endeavors. We Armenians who have unjustly been dispersed all over the globe, are particularly grateful to you. You brighten up my day & soul with your Armenian travel videos. Sending you a boatload of LOVE ❤️🇦🇲🙏 Anniewho😘

Justin, given your excitement for LADAs, you might be interested to know that there is a French band called LADANIVA. It consists of many International musicians working currently together. They perform Easten European, African and Armenian fusion songs. The lead members have one thing in common: their dads had LADA Nivas as they were growing up. Sometimes they come with concerts to Armenia. (Not now.) People like them. You might like their music too.

Why there's no handle, probably used it for lighting the BBQ for kebab! Brother, there's a story I'd love you to explore and consider. An Aussie and his Armenian wife moved to AM and developed a wonderful resort in Vanadzor, they're struggling with the reality many tourist just stick to Yerevan and the major attractions and itinerary. You've travelled far and wide, what are the conveniences and hassles of touring via main inbound channels and sights, or like you often do, go "walkabout" and do your own thing. Is it a matter of security that one ventures on the known trails, what's it going to take for tourists to break out of the norm and visit villages, is it Cost? Risk? Language? Remotenes? Unfamiliarity... I can think of countless reason why, and yet know countless reason why people SHOULD venture out there, because the warmth and sincerity has time and nature on it's side to enjoy. I know that from the last few years, Ive been intently interested in the going-ons there, learning why things have gone the way they have and how the nation needs to maximise their potential. I know for one, it's now a luxury to own a country cottage, our lives are city bound and it's hard to break free. Is it much the same for travellers and vloggers, are there too many unknowns to go to the borders, or is it those markets aren't reaching out to you? See @OriginsD (Len) #AreniLodge - #Vanadzor #Armenia (#resort #vineyard #cuisine)
