I spent 4 months in Armenia in Summer / early Autumn mainly based in Yerevan. I’m 51 and have traveled and lived all around the world and Yerevan is now my favourite city to the extent I’m planning on retiring there. People were so inviting and genuinely kind and generous. They have been through and continue to have struggles but they live their lives to the full, even if on limited resources at times but exude positivity and family values. A hidden gem in world. Love to Armenia 🇦🇲 ♥️💙🧡

The Russians always betray. You will understand this too soon. Nevertheless, Karabakh is an internationally recognized territory of Azerbaijan. Nobody can change that, not even the rabid dwarf from the Kremlin.

@@wisemongol Armenia is a member of a military organization headed by Russia. According to the agreement, Russia was supposed to provide assistance, but acted as always. If You are writing about politics, You must understand the context. Armenia was not right in the Karabakh issue, Azerbaijan had the right to return its territories, but this is another issue. Russia always betrays. And the sooner the Armenians understand this, the better it will be for the entire Caucasus.

I'm Italian. Didn't know much of Armenia. I have to say that I'm very impressed by the beauty and the perfect mix of modernity and history of its capital city. It seem like a southern European city! Very impressive! Also the living standards seem quite high! I mean, beautiful and well maintained buildings and streets, new cars on roads, well dressed people...

wonderful! I visited 5 years ago and it was a wonderful place to visit. The churches are incredibly beautiful -- and I did not see Mt Ararat until the day I left--I had a nice clear view from the airport.

Mount Ararat is a source of contention and lies on the border of Armenia and Turkey. It belonged to Armenia but may belong to Turkey now. It is where noahs ark landed I believe. Armenia was the first country to adopt Christianity as it's religion officially and has been under persecution ever since by surrounding Muslim countries.

Christianity in Armenia has never suffered from persecution by Muslim countries, and besides, Armenia is by no means surrounded by Muslims. Next door is Christian Georgia. True, Armenia has quarreled with it too. There is not a single neighbor with whom Armenia would be on friendly terms.

I was in Yerevan In april 2022, Very beautiful city with good people. There were lot of people from russia due to the ukrain war and they caused inflation in Yerevan and prices are high now! good drinks and good people , very good girls In there.

I hope you get to go to the stunning Medieval Castles, Some of the best in the world. Great food restaurants, In the summer, there is Yerevan Water World. The medieval monastery of Geghard is a stunning building. It's just outside Yerevan . As you will discover and explore, you will not be disappointed. The Soviets did a lot of good for Armenia as well, lots of the old buildings, parks and a lot of the protection we received against enemies came from the Soviets... so sure communism might be bad but the Soviets did more good than bad for Armenia.

Happy to see that you have done your research on my beautiful city and enjoyed everything it has to offer. It's a city rich in history and culture that most dont know about. Armenians have seen the darkest of day and yet they still manage to put a smile on their faces. They suffered a Genocide at the hands of the ottoman turks in 1915 and are witnessing a silent Genocide now in 2023 while neighbouring country azerbejan starves 120,000 Armenians in Artsakh (Nagorno -Karabakh). turks came in waves from central Asia since 11th century and want to completely eliminate Armenia off the map because it's the only thing standing in the way of pan-turkism. I recently returned from a trip to Yerevan and had an amazing time. The city is full of history and culture, and there is so much to see and do. One of the highlights of my trip was visiting the Garni Temple, an ancient structure that dates back to the 1st century AD. The temple is a testament to the skill of the ancient Armenians, and the views from the top of the temple are breathtaking. I also enjoyed exploring the city's many museums and galleries, including the History Museum of Armenia and the Cafesjian Center for the Arts.
