I love the “flair” recipe from 1rod. Flair doesn’t double coat he does cornstarch then hot sauce than the coating.

Would have been fried in grease IMHO. I season the meat and not the batter. A little seasoning goes a long way on fish though.

We get those redfin perch here in the southern states of Oz. They're an introduced species from the UK and they taste really good. The ones we have are Perca fluviatilis while yours are Perca flavescens.

Peach are very tasty and they are in the walleye family.. so much fun to catch in saginaw bay, along with walleye.. best eating fish in fresh water

A good challenge you guys could try. Catch a bunch of perch, sunfish, and any small fish. Cut the meat all off the bones. Cut meat shrimp size. Deep fry breaded. We call it poor man's shrimp.

Hey jon if in Maine go to Eddington bend just outside of Brewer, Maine . Gram took me there when I was a kid and could fill a 5 gallon bucket with white perch in no time at all. Great eating and fun to catch . Be a action packed video of or sure

If you leave the end of the tail connected when filleting the fish it makes cutting off the skin much easier

Love the old red fin great eating beautiful white flesh,we get them here in West Australia.They are invasive and eat all our freshwater crays/ marron and get to halfa yard 4+ pounds
