I played 4 player board game Catan in person with my friends. And it's really fun. i have a couple of games online but they tend to be quite slow. And people there don't really want you to have fun. They just wanna win. And it makes sense of course, but i don't enjoy it as much. With my friends it's much more fun because we don't plow each other and we have laughs all the time. We still try to win, but not at the expense of others misery.

I really like 4 player Catan in person for the social aspect too :) Table talk and convincing people into trades is half the fun, and sadly just not possible online without a voice call. My friends and I are all pretty competitive haha, so we definitely go for plows and deception, but it's all in good fun and adds to the enjoyment for us 😆

Such insane rolls... but weirder than that, blue seemed a little more novice than the rest. incredible control of the west 11:35 o'clock position, just domination on the production... Plus the luck of the VP's! You were in a perfectly good winning position! Nicely played!

That has to be one of the most enjoyable games to watch, and i bet it was the same to play. Got all resources, the dice were good to you, the players didn't roll too much 7s to block you, aaaaaaall the devs were in the pocket, 11 resource mono and the petty play from blue not to solo you but the piss of red. God damn. Doesn't get much better than this.

Nice win! Two minor things: 10:41 Maybe city + settle (with yop) over 2 devs 12:28 Idk if there was much of a benefit of holding on the knight there (esp with better players it might imply 3 non-knights making you an even bigger target)

Thanks! I appreciate the tips~ Since I already had a city up I liked the devs over 2nd city + settle since I was by myself on the board I didn't want to look too scary and be solo blocked the rest of the game and stall out. I might have been playing too cautiously, but it worked out by getting me the mono :) As for holding the knight I already had wheat in hand and no ports, so unblocking the 6 for more wheat just puts me over the hand limit and isn't really usable. But mainly, I wanted the ability to use my YOP in case any of my trades went through, which they did the next turn. I was certainly helped this game by insane luck and some seemingly newer players though. Thanks for giving me the feedback, and there's definitely merit to your suggestions! I hope my reasoning makes sense, but I'm definitely still learning :)
