It was not my intention to copy Talisson Cristino Since the backing track for this competition has similar chord progression as the Kiesel competition 2020 I ended up hearing Talisson Cristino's line and played it without knowing. Talisson Cristino is one of the guitarists that I have really admired for a long time and also have tried to study his phrasing and lines. 🙏🏻 If I had realized that I played the same line as him, I would have definitely changed my solo before I put it out. On the other hand, I feel like I am proud that the line that what i played ended up being the same as him since it means that I have learned to hear similar things with a guitarist that I admire. Everything I played, I genuinely heard them in my head, wrote them and record them in my own way. (Still, if i end up playing the same line as othes people, I still play it in my own way and use them differently) Sincerely, Unda Alunda

Don't worry about it my man. Haters are going to hate - you are too nasty at guitar to let it slow you down. John Mayer's best blues licks are all stolen from SRV, and most of SRV's licks are stolen from his heroes. Nobody in their right mind would accuse Stevie Ray of being inauthentic because he borrowed some licks from Muddy Waters. It's paying homage! Keep up the good work.

When i was in college I came up with the best chord progression I ever had thought of. I started playing and it just game to me. I was so excited I showed my friends and they loved it too. Later that week i was on a drive and heard an old favorite... my "original" chord progression turned out to be Hotel California! I have never learned that song, but I did figure it out by accident that day. Just keep cranking out tunes, my man. your leads are awesome!

Wouldn't be a stretch to say the level of guitar over the years has certainly increased due to the advancement of technology and increase in world population. But I think judging the level of young kids by just this video, or any video you see on youtube for that matter is extremely misleading. Of course the playing is good, otherwise, why would you upload it? And obviously, not everyone who plays guitar, uploads stuff on the internet.

Very few guitarists really get that touch with the way they play very few like this guy just got "IT" since this is a competition you can compare a lot of guitarists to him and you'll easily know his signature sound and in a blind test know it's HIM. This dude could easily release an album out there and create actual music without sounding similar to the shit-ton of periphery wannabes and elitist prog dudes out there. The 1st guitarist in 2021 that really impressed me similar to the greats i would never forget this dude's sound.
