You do, I agree. However, the only challenging part of tool is the drumming. Def talent in the song writing for sure. But the only tough music part is percussion.

Obviously, all you need to play the guitar in Tool is small division and some Google skills. Anyway, what's so challenging about the drums? All you need to do is be able to count and hit this and that at the appropriate time. Anyone can do that... 🤨

@@icaboy no a lot of tone comes from the actual fingering and technique within the playing of the notes....not the selection of the impulse signals and subsequent dial turning...

To the rest of the band.....give that drummer whatever he wants!!! Protect him at all costs!!!!!!!!

What the actual FK is this!?! 😂😂 Just sitting in a living room of a house, having a jam with the lads, and then proceed to kill a version of perhaps one of the most intricate and difficult songs Tool has ever done!! 😂😂😂 It was fire boys. Insanely good, well done. I love it ♥️

Thank you internet. Been playing guitar for over 4 decades in bands. I love seeing people like these guys playing in their kitchen covering one of the most difficult time signature songs there is to learn. You guys did awesome and each one of you had to do your part to make this sound great. Special kudos to the drummer as he has the most difficult part in the song to glue it all together. I sure hope these guys are playing clubs and getting recognition for covers like this. Love the Xbox controller on the amp. Reminds me of my young days of just hanging out all day jamming and having fun with friends. 🤘

While the Tool covers filmed in crazy music studios with saxophones and drumlines are cool, videos like this are my favorite. Just three dudes jamming at a house and nailing it. This is why I fall down the Tool cover youtube rabbit hole every few weeks.

a friend who's usually sending stupid shit shared this, I thought it was going to be a total disaster, the drums at the beginning sounded strange but not something a beginner could do, the guitar sounded like it could use a bit of intonation, but after that couple of things it turned into an impressive performance...

I've been playing more than 20 years... saying that because I know how much time and effort goes into learning, writing and performing... and I can only image the many long hours it took to learn that song and to get to a point to play it together well. I just came back and watched this video again, as a musician it’s like the feeling you get when everyone has a loving stable relationship except for you when you see a couple of Bros jamming together in a band and you have no friends that play any instruments
