Watching Pedro pitch at Fenway in 99-priceless

Pedro Martinez's entire run in a Boston uniform was unreal in this era...117-37 with a 2.52 ERA in 203 appearances (201 starts) over 7 seasons, even though he missed much of the 2001 season with injuries.

Only thing that could’ve made it better was seeing it live.
When MLB use to do it right and have each player represent their teams with their own uniforms... this what made the All-Star game experience feel truly authentic.

The Greatest All Star Game. My favorite due to the All Century Team and it being in 1999, the year i was born.
I’d simply be okay with just hearing all the conversations Ted would have with all the guys. A truly legendary all star game! Haven’t had anything like it yet

Yeah I remember this vividly, I was 13 and watched it with my grandpa. I grew up in Boston and we lived 6 miles from Fenway Park. Greatest era of baseball in my opinion was the so called “steroid era”. I was a HUGE, DIEHARD baseball and Red Sox fan to the point, that when I was deployed to Turkey (although that wasn’t a “real deployment” I went to those after Turkey) I went and got the Sox “B” tattoo on my forearm not only to show my love for the Sox but also in memory of my grandpa and my love and pride in being a Bostonian!! However because of what baseball has willingly become I’m having it removed. Baseball cares more about their liberal/communist agenda then they do about baseball, and the fact that my once beloved Red Sox decided to sell a small piece of it to someone who‘s OPENLY RACIST but, apparently because he’s racist towards white people that makes it OK!! Well as someone who is a fully disabled combat veteran I will NEVER support people who disrespect our country, our flag, or our anthem!! Anyways I still have these memories

@@jayvader9023 I’m not sure what you’re confused about. MLB is more concerned with being SJW’s and pushing their communist viewpoints than they are about playing baseball and collecting their ridiculous salaries! Than the Sox sell a piece of the team to LeBigot James, an openly racist piece of fecal matter who hates white people. He also went as far as to channel his inner Juicy Smollett by FAKING A HATE CRIME!! I could go on and on but if you truly don’t understand than you never will. I think the more likely scenario is that you DO UNDERSTAND but simply don’t want to acknowledge it.

There isn’t that much of high quality baseball from the early 2000s and 90s. Just beautiful to see. It’s like it’s in the original resolution and format

I absolutely love watching old baseball games, they are just so magical. The only problem is this video gave me 2 adds every 3 minutes. I actually did the math because I was in such disbelief. Not a bad battery for the American League:. Pedro and Pudge. Pedro was so electric as the ball just exploded out of his hand. As for Pudge, good luck running on that dude.
