    Glad you posted this, just fixed this issue on my truck yesterday. My plug had rusted out and melted as well so had to swap the harness as well. All working like new now!

  • @wendybartley7037
    @wendybartley7037 Жыл бұрын

    You should STRONGLY consider replacing the connector to the resistor as well. It was rusted to the resistor. I broke both trying to pull them apart. Would have made the job 50% easier just to replace both. If you do replace both, take a picture of wires 1st.

    I know it's an old video but mine only blows low speed no matter where I have the switch. Sometimes it will work if you hit the dash just right above the radio. I can't find any info on forums or anything. Maybe the switch itself is bad?

    The front blower motor in my e350 suddenly stopped working on any speed a few months ago. Is it possible it could be the resistor or more likely the relay? Rear blower still works fine if that helps

    I’m not familiar with the van. I would remove the blower motor and test it with a jump box if you have 2 separate motors. Or you could swap them to see if the one is bad but faster to just hook up 12v power to the one suspect motor

Mine does the same thing and when i turn it to high it makes my lights flicker and for some reason today it literally drained both my batteries while driving. Could this also drain power or should i look for wiring issue as well as replacing this part?

    2007 F350 6.0 Blowing cool not cold and “Ac blows harder then “Ac Max” Any ideas?

  • @MoneyisanIllusion

    @MoneyisanIllusion

    10 ай бұрын

    High on ac doesn’t make the ac compressor clutch run the entire time. When it’s on ac max it makes the compressor run the whole time. You need either an ac compressor clutch or ac compressor itself. Since you say max ac works less than just having the ac on it would seem the clutch gets hot and slips when it’s under 100% duty on the max setting. You may need a shop to do the recharge of the r134a under vacuum to refill completely. Those cheap refill bottles from parts store never work good.
