two of the best played teams from both schools , Wow what a game and execution by both teams ... Gary Stills was lights out ...

It was really, really hot that day too! Thought I would pass out from the heat...

This game was an absolute blast to attend

Also, I’m an Eers fan first (and an alumni) and a Herd fan second. Marshall got robbed on that 3Q fumble by WVU.

Meanwhile....still 0-12. Just a reminder!

This ESPN+ became ESPN 3 if I remember correctly. They produced games for regional channels and Pay Per View

This version of ESPN Plus was the actually the rebranding of ESPN Regional Television (fka Creative Sports) in 1996 and served as a distributor of college games to regional sports networks and broadcast stations. "ESPN PLUS" now technically falls under the ESPN Events umbrella. These regioanl broadcasts would also be carried on ppv via ESPN Gameplan/Fullcourt packages. ESPN3 technically started as ESPN360 in 2005. ESPN3 would eventually become the ppv outlet (until the new ESPN+ was created) as ESPN transitioned the packages to digital platforms (and rebranded the cable/satellite offerings as ESPN College sports extra.

For the record I can’t stand these Marshall fans and all their propaganda bull crap but I sure miss this series it was entertaining for the early college football season I know I maybe a minority within the WVU fan base but I would rather have Marshall on the schedule rather than William and Mary and Delaware state

Couldn’t agree more. A game that many in the state would actually value versus some random small team? I know what I would prefer.

The WVU TE flinches multiple times starting just after 02:52:30. Do that in today's game and it's a false start
