well if he wants that specific hairstyle then he should go for it, no need to give up on a hairstyle because you have weak or thin hair due to shit genetics or whatsoever. and i personally would show him photos of 90s leonardo and/or the hairstyle and additionally explain in words if the barber is unsure.
