Honestly, if you have a barber like this near you, you’re extremely lucky. First time I went barbers after 5 months of growth, I asked to keep it medium-length. I came out with a skin fade. Most local barbers shit themselves now if you don’t ask for a fade, scissors cut for them is just nightmare fuel.

Just a barber myself, you're absolutely right Ben, apart from fade and short haircut most of "Modern Barber" lack a lot of basic principle of scissor over comb work. Fortunately here in Italy we are blessed with some of the most classic and traditional barber ever :D

@Bruce Wayne specialising in the popular cut of the time is fine, but the ‘popular’ cut changes. All barbers should be able to adapt to popular trends but they should also be able cater to the wishes of the customer at the same time.

Most satisfying haircut ever.Every boy dreams of getting a haircut like this.But our barbers are nothing like this.

I really like his attitude when listening the client wishes, and being funny and relax, I'm a hairdresser going more for the barber side, and I'm always try to be serious but being goofy once in a while to build good connection with the client and make them feel comfy.

This is a proper decent cut, I'm so happy we are moving away from skin fades and going towards the more natural looking cuts. Edit: Damn, cheers for all the likes, but just an update, I got a skin fade recently 😫😂

Loved the over-comb work. I always look to perfect the style for cutting dad's hair, which we have been doing since early last year, not that it's like a barber can do, by any means. We (me and mom) do what we can, and do keep it nice & short, but sometimes looking at a style with over the comb work helps us tremendously. If only the barbers are old enough to remember how Leo's 90s hairstyle was. Most today's younger barbers only know current 'faded' hairstyles. I usually get dissapointed after my visits to barbershops which seeing me trimming my own hair back again.

@@zahemi914 Makes me feel like learning to use shears. I cut my own hair and can fade. I think the method, ignoring the scissors is not too different to fading as for a fade, if it’s not a taper it’s usually fading around the horseshoe just like he cuts around the horseshoe shorter than the top.
