The Labonte brothers always ran well at Dega but for whatever reason could never get it done at Daytona...

John Andretti that year was a force at the plate tracks. I think that year he may have had the single fastest car at all four races.

@@STP43FAN1 you haven't raced car obviously. Mark Martin has given his view on restrictor plate racing and he nails it. It's about being a good drafter. Why u think Michael Waltrip sucked at anything other than Daytona and Talladega?

The TV guys used focus on the racing and not the driver. You can see those in-car cameras showed how cool the driving action was...now they just point the camera at the side of the driver as if that's more exciting
