1996 Suzuki Intruder VS1400 Introduction!

I decided to add another Suzuki Intruder 1400 to my stable. It's been a few years, since 2015 to be exact, since I've owned a big metric cruiser and honestly, I've missed it. The Suzuki Intruder family has held a special place in my motorcyclist heart for a long time and I'm glad to have another.
Please leave a comment about what you think I should do with this bike. Repaint it? Leave it alone? Beat it to hell and back? Throw some ideas my way, I'm open to most all suggestions! Like, comment, and subscribe for more videos to come on this bike. Thank you for watching!
These are the links to the items I used or have installed on my bikes.
Any purchase you make using these links helps the channel but costs you nothing extra!

Beautiful bike! I just bought an immaculate 96 Intruder 1400, only 19400km, it's black with dark grey in middle of the tank and guards(fenders) with blue metallic flakes. $7500 here in Australia and worth every cent! Thanks for the great video👍

Just got a '96, needs a lot of work to get it back up to road ready, I've had a few Suzuki bikes over the years, my GS1100L built in the 1980's was one of the best I ever rode. Hope I can get this 1400 going just as good.

Decent review, I'm about to buy a 1994 Intruder 1400 for my retirement later this year, it will be the first of this type of bike I've had, the way I look at it, it's time to slow down a bit and relax and this is just the ticket.

About the seafoam. Just add some 2 stroke oil to the fuel (1/2% mix) and you will never have any problems with the carbs or rust in the tank

A very informative video for me as I've just bought a '94 model with less than 10,000 miles on it. It will sit nicely in my garage next to my '88 vmax 1200. It amazes me just how little you americans pay for your motorbikes, $1200 for that one is an absolute bargain, mine cost me £5000 here in the UK although it was from a dealer so you do pay more for their overheads and profit margins I suppose.

Classics and their paint job you leave as they are as long as dents or scratches are not too noticeable. When bike enthusiast bring up a conversation on the bike at least you can begin with it's original paint for that year. The make and models of all bikes from Japan are classics for their looks, maintenance friendly and they will last forever.

I just bought a garaged kept 95 VS 1400 with 10,000 miles. Great shape. What I can't stand is the handlebars. They make the bike hard to control IMO

I have a 2000 VS1400, cobra slipons, such a fun powerful bike,,,I would not do anything major to yours, like you said remove dents, tune it to perfection, I would lube speedo cable or take front tire off and clean puck and remedy the wobble of the speedo, mine was doin it and it drove me nuts, I would get yours perfect it you can, I would do nothing more than keep it tuned and cleaned MAYBE try some drag bars and see if you like the feel

Hey Keith! The previous owner to me, had dropped the bike on the lawn, and that's how the fork stop was broken off. The kick stands on soft ground are really bad and will fold under too easy.
