Ғылым және технология

In todays video I'm gonna show you how I deep cleaning an old-school MTB from 90's and partly restorating to it's geniune shape. It's a model from 1994 (i guess).
Embark on a journey back in time as I breathe new life into the classic Univega 5.5 mountain bike.

I love that you have not simply replaced all the parts like in many other videos, this is real restoration!

That bike was cleaner before you started on it than my bikes are after I clean them up.

Love the bike design kzread.infoUgkxHL1v1R3NE5x4KiYfyt8dnQmyNYz7qi5L and functionality. It is hard to align the front tired to center the disk brakes. The brake wheel touches the stationery side of the brake caliper and pad. I aired the tire up to 40 psi as the markings say 40-60psi. Left the house for a few hours and came back to an exploded innertube. All in all it seems to be a good bike. Have not ridden it yet though so that's the max of my knowledge. Update, put a new innertube made sure the tire was set properly and it did the same thing in under 20 minutes as second pic shows.

A lot of people don't realize that a good cleaning can remove roughly a pound and a half of weight off the bike.

So my memory is correct on my old Alpina 5.0 from 1993. The bottom bracket is attached non-driveside. The cup is attached driveside. Weird.

As far as I know, a-head stem started in 1995 but LX has been 8-sped from 1993, so are you choosing older LX shifters?
