I was there about 3 weeks before this was filmed, and I'm really enjoying watching it! Allow me to take out my old man cane and say why... While it's crowded, I'm not seeing any strollers, people used to make their kids walk! No one is walking around bumping into people while looking at their MDE app on their phones. There's no genius plus, , no fast fast plus, no fast pass. If you want to ride something, people got in line like everyone else and waited their turn, and because of that lines never stopped moving. Ok....I feel better. Thank you for this glimpse into our pass, I really enjoy it!

Everything you have said there is 💯 why the parks was so better then than they are now, there’s no enjoyment walking around the parks now having to have your head in your mobile phone 📱 as well as no fast passes & Genie plus making everyone wait in line because you did actually get on the rides much quicker & you also got to get on everything you wanted 👍

Being a passholder in SoCal from 06-10 it still was the hayday of actually being "present" when attending the park. Now it seems people only go so they can film themselves going. Phones have ruined us.

I loved the custom intro you made for this episode withthe 3D castle and those Red+White & Blue fireworks sure were a treat to see in this video! Thanks for another magical home video adventure and i'll cya next video!

I wish I was turning 30 in 1994 and celebrating the 4th of July at WDW! Great fun I have to say!

If im not mistaken, this year was the year my family and I decided to go in July instead of August and experienced parks at capacity for the first (and only) time ever! I remember peaking out of the monorail window and seeing digital signs set up showing "magic kingdom full"

Great to hear you visiting the same time as us, I just remember how busy it was and thinking no way are we going to do a 4th of July again!! I cant imagine how busy it must be nowadays!!

@@DisneyDave yes that was one and done for us as well! That year we went for my birthday which is just days before and also drove and stayed off property! Coming down from NJ! Such fond memories of “roughing it” back then!

I love all these old VHS footage videos. Makes me wish I could watch all mine! Sadly nobody I know has a VCR to watch them anymore. In hindsight, probably makes no sense we have a lot of family VHS tapes... but no way to watch them now after my parents gave our VCR to someone else. :(

That's a shame your parents gave away your VCR 😔 on the plus side, eBay usually has a great selection for sale and very reasonably price, I picked one up recently in the UK for £30 ($37 dollars converted price) and up to now it works perfectly fine

I'm afraid not, Its getting so difficult now to upload videos with copyright audio and its also a bit of a minefield! This video for example had to be uploaded 8 times before it was released because every time I uploaded it after removing audio KZread would find even more audio that was copyrighted
