Andrew Neuer puts a tremendous amount of roll on the ball.
Del Ballard Jr looking like Mean Gene Okerlund in this video.
Here's an interesting note about this telecast. Two of the players in this TV finals, both of whom battled Walter Ray Williams, Jr., Eugene McCune and Andrew Neuer, now have sons on the PBA Tour. McCune's son Kevin, a 3rd-generation bowler (Eugene's father Don was an 8-time winner on the PBA Tour, including 6 in 1973, and is a member of both the PBA and U.S. Bowling Congress Halls of Fame), won a major title in 2023 (the PBA Players Championship), and Andrew Neuer's son Anthony is also on the PBA Tour, and became just the fourth bowler to convert the 7-10 split in the televised finals of an event in 2021, and the first player in three decades to do it.
I bowled in the imperial lanes in milton 1 season on 5 man scratch league. Sonny hull had it then. Was pre andy times. Wish i could have met him.
