1993 PBA True Value Open held at Landmark recreation center in Peoria, Illinois. The first match features Tony Westlake versus Mike Aulby. The second match features Norm Duke versus Tony Westlake. The championship match features John Mazza versus Norm Duke. King of the Hill match features Ron Williams Jr. versus John Mazza.

the beginning of the reactive resin ball era that - great finish - mazza was cool as a cucumber playing to the audience!
Right after Norm's last shot as he walked back John tried to shake his hand but Norm wasn't having it after John celebrated his last three shots, after the first hit in the 10th I could understand but running out the others definitely didn't sit well with Norm. I remember that when I saw that telecast live back in the day.
it was a very exciting telecast
the 3 matches plus the king of the hill were exciting and close

Since John Mazza took a year off from touring in 1992, did he have to go back to playing the rabbit squads at the start of the 1993 season? He would have been exempt from the rabbit squads had he toured in 1992. I don’t know if players were allowed to defer their exemptions back then.

And Mazza dicided to have a cute little Alpha-alpha thing to cover his bald head. These guys were so clueless.... Some of them were good bowlers though.
