Norm Duke is such a calm and humble man. After he won the second match, he gave his wife Karen a quick kiss. Norm Duke has such a great sense of humor! Congratulations Norm Duke for winning the championship!!!! 🙂👏🎳

I noticed that after Norm Duke bowled a 279 game, he walked off screen to his wife Karen. They got married in 1993.

In this video, there was a mistake about Norm Duke's wife Karen. The caption said Norm Shafer's fiancee. Then, they corrected it and they put Karen Duke. Norm Duke's wife.

When Jaros left the 9 pin the announcers mention the "new balls" but the red ball he was using looks urethane to me, does anyone recognize it?

That is a CSI HyPower. Carmen Salvino formed a business to sell balls using a coverstock called HyTherm that he formulated himself. It had a reputation for being smooth as silk on the right conditions which suited a classic stroker like Steve Jaros just fine.

@@canuck_gamer3359 Good memory. The Cheetah had a "thermal" coverstock too, called the TCT (Thermal Contact Tech), but it was made by Elite instead of CSI.

Riz2336 WRW was definitely not at his best in that game. When you lose the touch, it just can spiral out of control. In any case, both of these guys went on to win a lot more games!
