@@ithinkihaveebola5238 yes but now they are basically European race cars. They still have big V8s but they are nothing like a old couch cushion Cadillac that rides like a cloud. The Escalade is super fancy but still doesn’t give the feel of Cadillac for me at least. Doesn’t mean I wouldn’t own one. If someone gave me a new supercharged cadi I would love it.

Smooth as butter even at 80 mph

4.9 v8 is the best Cadillac engine. I had a 90 Cadillac DeVille. I miss that car.

Looks like it's running great 👍 my 91 DeVille lacks power at take off

0-60 in 15 seconds. It was a very dark period for auto enthusiasts. 😔

@@metop33 No. I had a 1980 Trans Am with a 4.9L. The 4.9 in a T/A was cruel joke. I’d floor it to try to pass a car and it didn’t do anything. At all. 🙄

@@ShavinMcCrotchThe 1980 Trans Am 4.9 was a completely different motor than the fuel injected 4.9 pushrod V8 Cadillac had. Apples to oranges. There was something seriously wrong with this acceleration in this car. This is supposed to do 0 to 60 in 7.7 seconds not 15 seconds. The motor seems very tired. I’ve driven many of them and they can light those tires up and accelerate very well for their day. Just say’n

Hey buddy I have a 92 DeVille that I love so much I have the burgundy interior also mine was originally white exterior but once it started to peel because of Dawn dish soap Yes don't ever use it on a car well I ended up having to paint it and now I painted mine candy apple red I'm actually located in the Nashville Tennessee area

Those numbers are crisper than my jeans.

This right here is why my 90 Sedan Deville is about to have 800+ hp. Love this car…it just was always too slow.

These cars actually shift very smooth I have a 92 right now I've had mine for like 7 years I love that car the power steering pump just went out on me I have to change it out now

I mean no disrespect, but something’s up with your car dude. 0-60 should only take about 8 seconds

At least it gets terrible fuel mileage.

Something wrong with it, theyre much quicker than that.

That's slow for a 4.9. I've had two, 93 & 94 and they both were faster.

@therealjayseh the 4.9 liter was available from 1991-1995. It wasn't available in the Allante. The 4.9 is fantastic.

The 4.9 version was put in these Cadillacs starting in 1991, this one being a 93 has the 4.9. but his seems to be a bit tired for some reason. I have an 86 with the 4.1 and it does pull a bit harder than this, but that is what happens when u get a car from a nice older gentleman who took very good care of it.

Who’d buy that pile of junk over a Mercedes, especially in 93…
