45:37 is just another example that the golden era NBA was better and more entertaining than the boring 3point crazy current NBA.

Wow, haven't seen this game since the day it was played. Thanks for posting. Canada had 4 or 5 really nice players (really liked the games of #8 and #13) and hung with the US pretty well, but what were they are going to do? Canada was physical, and that probably contributed to the US not hitting its shots or taking care of the ball as well as usual in the first half. But when the "second" team comes in it's Patrick Ewing, John Stockton, Clyde Drexler, Charles Barkley and Scotty Pippen, with Bird resting his sore back on the bench. Jeesh, ridiculous level of talent. All 5 guys in the NBA HOF. In the 2nd. half Canada tried to overplay and that didn't work out, but nothing was going to work out. I remember this game as the game that Stockton got hurt. As it turned out they didn't even need probably the best small point guard of all time.

As someone who attended many Blazer games (and worked for them as a ballboy) in the early 90's, the arena music brings back good memories.

You're supposed to forget about the dangers that were present back then, while simultaneously having endless sympathy for victims that were quickly dead from HIV/AIDS. Typical. As far as Magic, there should be some analysis of his selfishness, on and off the court. But Magic has always been teflon.
