I love that you did this amp. Back in 1992 (somewhere near there) I bought it's little sibling, the D60 II to pair with my Orion 280GX in my minitruck. I used the D60 II for my doors and the Orion for my subs. I absolutely LOVED that little D60 II. I still find myself on eBay every now and then searching for a D60 II or D100 II. One of these day's I'll find one priced right and I'll get it. Compared to the wires hanging out of the amp that so many amps had at that time, the Soundstream connections were just so beautiful when installed. I was looking to get another Soundstream amp to replace my Orion but it never came to be. Life got busy and car audio while always there took a backseat to my wife and our kids. But I still love the old school Soundstream.

That AL amp is Audio Logic. I had a couple of those. I think the model was the AL600, if memory serves me correctly. I actually just tossed an empty box of one of those. They absolutely wouldn't handle anything less than 2 ohm loads without blowing the fuse or the fets. They weren't terrible for the price. They might have done 180-250 rms @ 2 ohm, by my guess. I'd definitely be interested to see what the dyno says they'll put out in a "perfect world". I had two paired up on the 1st version PowerBass 10s that were rated to handle 300rms. The subs handled more than the amps could put out. Wasn't a bad little setup in an 83 Datsun 280zxT. Hopefully you'll show us that AL soon.

Soundstream was always on par or better than what was offered in the early 90s .And usually on the cutting edge, and typically designed for high quality sound, as with all the other brands, but SS went about it a bit differently compared to RF, PPI, Orion etc, probably Zapco most resembled SS design philosophy more than the Arizona brands…imo.

Big D or anyone else reading this. I had a pair of 12 inch subs in the mid 90's made by Eletro Bass (EB). For the time they were massive. They weighed 25lbs a piece. They had a redish colored surround and the letters EB on the dust cone. Some of the best subs I ever had to this day. Does anyone have any recollection of these? When I look online it's like they never existed. If anyone knows anything about them please let me know. Unfortunately after blasting them around town my car was broken into and the entire system was stolen within a few months of me having them. Thank you in advance to anyone that has any knowledge of these they would like to share.
