The 2nd MOST POWERFUL Four Channel Rockford Fosgate Amp EVER! T15004
Автокөліктер мен көлік құралдары
#AmpDyno #Amplifier #rockfordfosgate
The Rockford Fosgate Power Series T15004 was touted as "the most powerful four-channel amplifier Rockford Fosgate has ever made" back in 2004 when it was introduced. Of course, a few years later in 2006, the legendary T15kW at a price of $25,000 and limited production to 20 units or less was introduced. So after 2006 the T15004 was not the most powerful 4ch amp by Rockford, but we are pretending it's 2004 here friends.
The T15004 was rated to deliver:
125x4 at 4 ohms
250x4 at 2 ohms
375x4 at 1 ohm
or bridged
500x2 at 4 ohms
750x2 at 2 ohms

I installed lots of RF from late 90s to mid 00s they weren't the best for SQ. They don't clip nicely and had tendency to smoke mids and highs (sometimes even subs) for "certain" customers which we solved by either switching to JL amps or diamond HEX components. They were great amps but I really considered them dirty power. That said I'd hand best AB amp to McIntosh.
I have one of these, absolutely amazing effortless power and sound quality 🥰 Way too big for my current car so using a Rockford 1000.4 (vu meters) to power my entire system 😉
That’s crazy for that time. Beast.
Oh sweet baby Jesus, you finally got a Punch 250m! I actually asked you if you had one when you did one of your original 500m videos years ago. Can't wait to see what those do since I had 4 of them.
@12:46 the TC7 and TC10 packages were not populated. I wonder if that's a mod from a previous repair or in a earlier prototype variant the amp could have done slightly more power... 🤔 Either way, amazing app and love how the power supply and output sections are separated like that. Freaking work of art!
I remember buying my t10001bd back in 05 and came with the Birth/Dyno sheet, mine was rated iirc at 1250 RMS @1 OHM, still have the amp but it's blown sitting in my storage shed waiting to get fixed.
Now thats a fantastic beast!!!!!!
I was not selling car audio by the time those came out, but I still was around it for a while. Those amps baffled me as to how RF thought people could fit those into most vehicles. They are awesome performers, but not everyone is willing to give up that much real estate. That surely had to have limited sales volume. Anyway, great video! I love seeing the old(ish) school stuff perform.

Awesome vid again! Mind reviewing the t500-1bcp? since you did the 1500 and 2500. where the 1500 was srsly underrated, but the 2500 wasnt. So i hope my t500 is "boss reverse" rated ;D
I have same model but the T.1000.1BD I love the bass knob. SQ is beautiful on the power series amps. I prefer this year/version of the power T series amps. It's the same way they built the Power T3002. I am really wanting to get the explanation of the extent for this much extra power vs the normal RF method of guaranteed power output stated. This will be a good question for the one employee at RF who explains why the T3002 was a beast (thank you marketing, probably the only time that would be said). But I'm sure glad you are very passionate about the complete unbiased industry as a whole and then the accountability of the manufacturing aspect and education of the end user.

lol i remember this amp when it came out! i went with the pioneer premier amps though instead. would be amazing if you could get one of those from the early 2000's! or maybe it was 1998-99? i cant remember when those ones came out but they were AMAZING when they came out had to use a HUGE cap / battery setup in my car lol.
I was curious and took a minute to dig up the amp schematic to check out the design and I’m surprised. It’s extremely conventional and simplistic even by standards back then. It actually looks to be pure class B although I’d have to study the schematic a bit more to be sure. To sum it up it appears the primary design goal was to make the amp as simple and reliable as possible.

Yo, the galloping Gertie aka the Tacoma narrows bridge! That’s my hometown
Now that's a huge amp
It’s a awesome amp I have a T2000 running 2 L7 15 inch kickers I love this amp 🫡🫡
Damn, I like it!
The insane power output doesn't surprise me but I can't believe you were able to work a Debbie Gibson/Tiffany reference into a video in the year 2022 🤣
Apparently kicker is better than what it advertises. I was selling wholesale car stereo at one point. When my son learned how to drive I decided to put a system in his car. I will just talk about what was in the trunk skipping everything else. For the low end I had this brand called Cadence, decent and I got them for free. I was also able to get a hold of power acoustic amplifiers again no charge to me. I used a double 12 inch ported box and loaded it with too 12-in Cadence woofers I only had to pay for the Box and the wiring kit. For the amplifier I grabbed a power acoustic monoblock that was supposedly 3,000 Watts RMS into one ohm and that's how I had it set up. I thought it sounded great. However when my son got a new car all his friends had kicker and he was busting my balls for kicker. I had to spend some money. At that time the newest thing with kicker were those Square woofers. I downsized it to one 12 in kicker woofer and matched it with a kicker 400 watt RMS monoblock amp. In my opinion it sounded good for what it was but because it had the name kicker it made my son happy. If he was happy I was happy. He was a good kid did very well in school when he got out of college he did very well for himself and he deserved everything that I ever got for him. that's my kicker story. Myself personally I'm more of a bang for the buck person not one that looks to impress anybody with name brands. My son on the other hand at his age everything was about competition and having what his friends had. I bought him a Toshiba laptop he wanted an Apple. I told him I said take the Toshiba return it and you can spend the difference because I'm not doing it and he did. He was definitely Mr. name brand and I was Mr bang for the buck.
I would love to find one of these to match my T30001BD.
Hey Big D who do you use for amplifier repairs? I have some older fosgate and kicker amps that need attention.
