Had a Marmom Day Cab with a smaller Cat about 35 years ago. It was running when picked up. Came out of Chicago Limestone Pits. Made a great Farm Truck. It cleaned up nice. The Farmers who bought it are still working it. Nice find……keeping my fingers crossed. Thank You for another great Video !! H.

Hi jim, don't beat yourself up over this, you did your best, and as you indicated earlier these types of trucks are rare, parts are ridiculously scarce, and it's just one of those times some trucks just don't want to be resurrected back on the open road. Keep working on it, and you will succeed.

Those trucks are a rare thing now days since the Marmons don't exist anymore. I love the old trucks like this one. Even more so, I love the Cab Overs. Nice truck 👍. Nice find. I would love to hear that truck running.

Marmon was started in 1963 and produced trucks up until 1997. Their Trucks are extremely rare due to parts unavailability, age, and low production numbers.

This is a find for sure, had a 1985 with a 425 Kitty and a 13spd, I miss the old girl, I use to live in Acworth in Cherokee county, outside of Villa Rica on the Eastside by the truck stop, my old 1976 K-100 double bunk flat top Kenworth is sitting, I sold it to my step brother who passed shortly afterwards and his wife had it parked in the woods, I had just totally rebuilt the entire drive train and it had a 530HP 1693 Cat motor and 15spd, that truck was a beast. Maybe one day I'll see it on your channel.

The engine is cranking and was almost starting all it needed was application of quick start. Quick start helps not to drain the battery quickly and not to burn the starter motor. In Zambia, I could have used petrol to start it. Good luck guys.
