Been waiting to see it come home. Cleaned up good on the outside looks like a mess on the inside. That just plain looks like a heavy truck the way it’s built. I think it’ll be nice once it’s straightened out. It’s got quite the hodge podge of wheels on it. Bug bomb would be the first thing to do.

@@JamesPretty Cool I think it’s gonna clean up nicely. Those were really nice trucks. If memory serves me correctly they were hand built one at a time. @@darrencatenacci2737 your correct they were the cream of the crop as the old saying goes a guy here in my hometown had one built and it wasn't cheap and took a while to get it almost like today if you want a new truck but now it's getting the parts not putting them together back then that one looks real close to the one he had he took it to the drag strip and raced a guy in a corvette and he almost beat him I told him I said buffalow that was his nick name I said your gonna ring a driveshaft or pinion in the rear end but he said it's only money which he was well off or he was don't no what ever happened to the truck but last time I seen him he was in a new Peterbuilt but wow that was in 88 or 89 at the drag strip man the time has flew by seems like yesterday

It's in fair shape to get mechanically fit and then attack the cosmetics. The Marmon has one asset and one downfall. Most mechanical components are from vendors that supplied Marmon. That's a plus. The minus is the cab and hood as they are specific to Marmon. The glass being flat is a good old school fix from the neighborhood glass shop. I would drain the transmission and rear ends using paint strainers to catch any surprises and reuse it until road ready. Way cool!
