Major was such an exceptional player, I was delighted to pen his biography, "Major Impact."

Lost the national title game this year, but still what a year. Went undefeated, beat Penn State, won the Lambert Trophy. Great year.

Listen I'm a life long Mountaineer fan, I was at the 88 fiesta bowl! I loved watching Pat White, but honestly he couldn't carry the Major's jock strap on an airplane! The Major was the first HIM!!!!! ANDRE WARE stole that Heisman, cause by far the best football player in the country that year was Major Harris

Hands down the 88 team over the 07 team. That 88 team was stacked on both sides of the ball. I don't think Pat White and Slaton could do anything against that 88 team defense. Big names everywhere. 07 team's defense wasn't that good. And Major was a better passer than White.

Just because they might have played a tougher schedule does not mean they were a better team. I think the 88 team was better. Better defense and far better quarterback.

@@bigal25938 yeah, definitely better QB, and played a far better Notre dame team closer in 88 than the average Spurrier gator team in 93 that blew WVU of the field ! Only time I ever routed for gators to win a game ,as FSU fan! Gator fans had me convinced Florida was gonna lay down for WVU to screw Seminoles outta national championship! That team wasn't on FSU level as we all saw in the sugar bowl! You think the 06 or 07 team was better than 88, or 93?

07 had a better offense but 88 had a better defense. I think 07 was the best team ever.

I saw AB Brown play quite a few times during his illustrious career at Salem HS(NJ). The same school which produced PSU and Baltimore Colt great Lydell Mitchell and currently the best RB in college football Jonathon Taylor of Wisconsin.

the'88 team was better than the '93 team, but line them up and I'd take the '07 team over the '88 team
