    A great win for WVU. MVP, Geno got it, but there were so many players that made this happen it's hard to simply say there was only one MVP. Listening to Geno speak after the game made me feel like a proud PaPa. I couldn't have been any prouder had my own son been selected.

When Nehlen left WVU, even though I knew RRod well from his days here, he is only 8 years older than me, and my mother was his Master's Degree Professor at Salem College(in the same class as Mike Carrey, our Women's HC). Was happy, but if I could've picked a coach as king for a day, it would've been Spurrior. Loved him at FL, more now. Huge Gamecocks fan. Semper Fi

    @TelcoKen Also, it will be shown many times as part of his Heisman candidacy...not sure OK State, BoiState, Houston, or even Boyd at Clemson will put up the numbers Geno WILL barring injuries as always. He has a far better shot that White ever did, not dissing White, he shoulda been 2nd in 95 and 96. His senior season, with Stew and man-child Mullen, they cut the balls off our offense, and didn't believe in "style games". Just over their heads at the BCS Level. Geno has a legit shot. Semper Fi.

  • @foxnewsfanify
    @foxnewsfanify12 жыл бұрын

    There is a case to be made that after Bark,Geno is the best QB in the 2013 draft. He does not remind me of Cunningham, as Jaws states in the game, and I have not watched enough Joe Nameth film to judge the Shiano statement. What I do see is a QB very much in the Aaron Rodgers mold..athletic, high football IQ, can make every throw, very accurate, and can run if necessary. Granted, I am a WVU Alum, but Geno is special, and will be the first WVU QB to be taken in Round 1. Book it. Semper Fi.

  • @foxnewsfanify
    @foxnewsfanify12 жыл бұрын

    @TelcoKen That moment, Geno was spontaneously witty and he reflects the attitude of our HC Dana, the brightest offensive mind in college football(Leach, you know ur THE Pirate.) Dana is just different; he will win. Period. He and AD Luck will accept nothing less. We have a school Pres. in Dr. Clements who not only loves college sports, he also understands that we could waste millions in trying to get students to attend college in general, but that night in Miami was worth far more. Semper Fi.

  • @foxnewsfanify
    @foxnewsfanify12 жыл бұрын

    @wvuis1 No doubt! If you check the page, I wonder if you agree with my thoughts on that moment and Geno's senior year. Also, after years of foolishly only nominating potential NaCh winners, we saw this year a 9-3 QB can still win the Heisman; though his win over Luck is a good debate, going 9-3 should not, and was not, the overriding factor. Excitement was. That's where Geno gets his shot, for the reasons in my other comments, for Geno is VERY LIKELY to lead the nation statistically. Semper Fi.

    This 2012 team was sorely underrated!!! WVU was a good enough team for that LSU game to have gone the other way, easily. Pretty sure we outgained LSU in total yardage...if a few crucial plays had gone differently that game, I think that season and arguably the entire program would have been put on a MUCH different trajectory. Anyway, here's to Geno hopefully making his mark here in 2021, starting for Seattle!
