I used to love this set. Was in 2nd grade when I came out and were the first baseball cards I ever bought. Would buy packs of these and Garbage Pail Kids 😊
What's a bummer about Rose is - woulda been great for Reds to have his coaching skills for players ALL these lost years...
I know someone one up in Vincennes, Indiana that won a trip to Cincinnati Reds spring camp, has his own uniform from there. Yep!!
When I was 12 we used to bring bottles back to the grocery store in 86' and buy packs. Also in RBI BASEBALL Marty Barrett for Boston was like Barry Bonds hitting a HR almost every time at bat. 😊 So cool to see these cards being unwrapped again. Thanks Jabs your the man.
Hell yeah! Love throwback Thursday. Specially on rainy day 👍👍
Very nice set of cards 😊 oh and RIP Brooks Robinson 😢😢
That Gwynn is grade worthy IMO. No Nolan, Sandberg, Winfield, Boggs or Cecil Fielder sucks though. Donny Baseball was the best card IMO but I'm biased.
1987 Topps woodgrain frame the best 80s design hands-down!
You went right by Eric Davis
what a great year. My first year buying cards! Love this
That rumor only works on the face side of the card where it is a little bit "glossier"
That was awesome to see all those old players. Thanks!
Thanks for the video Jabs! Always appreciated! 🙏
Thought I saw the Dykstra card, as I thought, there’s “Nails”.
Nice rip/commentary Jabs! ‘84 has to be the best design of the decade but ‘86 is legendary. Heart goes out to the Wakefield family
Thank you Jabs!
If I was to become Commissioner, I would immediately reinstate Pete Rose and Shoeless Joe.
They used to sell these boxes at the Price Club in 1986 for $10 a box. Price Club became Costco.
It’s still the best looking cards Topps made! I wish they would do a series in todays cards
Still have this set. Love the design that screams 80's.
