Classic show from the 80's ! Remember it well .... O'Drobinak knocking off 3 greats ... and Marshall acting like Marshall as usual. When O'Drobinak's Father ran out to hug his son after the 10 pin conversion ... priceless !!! One of the all time great PBA telecasts !! Will always remember it !

Best PBA telecast ever. I watched it when it was live on TV and loved watching O'Drobinak take down the greats of the game, especially Holman. Nicely done!! Thanks very much for the upload.

That moment just after Jon converts the 10 pin in the 10th frame in the title match and his dad runs out onto the approach to hug his son. Wow! that was such an amazing sight

Thank you for posting! A famous show from the 80s with how Jon mowed through three of the 80s biggest stars on the tour.

10:02 Jon describes how he stopped looking at the scores (his and his opponents') and as a result, improved. Imagine that!!! :) I must try that next time. I'm stuck in the 140/150's with a sprinkle of 180's in each set.

Worked with Jon for a couple years in Denver in the late 2000s. Nice guy. Johnny O got in a Marshall’s head and he choked.

17:09 LOL match done. great games. Jon with 241. I'm matched Harvey's 191 so I'm on a good track. Need some adjustment.

What kind of pins are being used by chance? I don't think I ever saw those before.

Holman was one of the biggest crybabies on the tour. Nothing was ever his fault. I once seen him complain because a 9-month-old girl sneezed during his approach. He made the mother feel like an idiot with his tantrum. I love to see him lose. but it's never his fault he loses.
