As for an air cooled bike you just wanna focus on the fins being in good shape the rubbers in there are important the air fuel mix is important the oil ratio in the fuel is important the more oil you mix the less fuel it has makes it run more lean witch causes it to run hot more fuel more rich helps to run cooler all depends on what you’re planning on using the bike for just a rider I run 30:1 if you’re racing 50:1 leaner is meaner but you pay to play

Hey brother, I have the exact same model 250R, would it be possible to get some information on parts and "how to". Currently my 250 will start and idle, but pins to full throttle when riding.

Check the reed valves and make sure there are no intake leaks to start. also check the slide needle adjustment. But it sounds like a intake leak to me I’m better at diag when I have the bike In front of me.

@@noclassgarage8183 im in palmdale lancaster area. You look like your in el monte or somewhere in la but any recomendations for a repair shop? I have an 81 250r atc and my compression is at 10p.Pretty sure it needs a new piston. Also it rolls a little bit when its in gear so im thinking tranny too.

@@sleezzzyp yea super low and if it rolls in gear has a lot to do with compression as well but all that will be looked at during a tear down
