Just reassembled the top end on my 79 husky 250cr. Wiseco piston and rings of course! The engine has been sitting dormant for almost 20 years. Got it back in the frame (replacing the 390cr engine that took it's place years ago) and took 4 kicks and it's alive again! Great video with good advice Thanks!

Always wash cylinder with hot soapy water and lube immediately to prevent flash rusting.

7:33. I dont know if its necessary or not cause the torq is so low but maybe do it in two steps. 5 or 10ft pounds then finishing torq

Man I dig that music. "I like to put oil all over stuff" too. This video was helpful, but I expected Wiseco to have a little more professional video, like Rocky Mountain's.

At about the 4-minute mark you glaze over the surface prep, Im very curious because many use razorblades, some 3m scour pads, and such. But I do not want the gasket to fail. The razor blades leave tiny little scratches which can be a problem. Thank You!

The Wiseco piston set I got specifically said it didn’t matter if rings are facing up or down?

Broh.... What about the dots on the chamber... If we make dots with a marking-drill then what's the use of that...

Does wiseco make a piston for the Suzuki ax100? It’s a 50mmx50mm

What are you living it with

is the piston ring pre gapped or did you have to gap it with a feeler gauge

sometimes they come pre gapped but its always good to check with feeler gauges
