Yeah these are prob my favorite body styles for dirt late models. The large rear spoilers make them even cooler.

@ 9:31 The red 327 is Don Hester from Tupelo, MS. That was a new car he got just a few months earlier, Howe chassis, sponsored By Jerry Wilkins Motors, Jackson, TN.

1981 was the last year that I got to follow a complete season of late model dirt action. The NDRA was doing good then, wedges hadn't taken over yet......Moore, Simmons, Combs, Duval, Archer, Inmon, Hester, Purvis, Swartz, Boggs, Helfrich, Patrick.....Bopp, Howe, Rayburn & Jig-a-lo chassis .....every weekend.
