I guarantee if you ask Holman nowadays,he'll tell you he let that stuff get under his skin way too much and brought on most of it himself. He was a confrontational dick, period. He seems like a good dude on tv now 🤷‍♂️

Bo Bowden did bowled amazingly well in his first telecast

Possibly the best TV Bowling clip on all of You Tube. Thank you Mr. Ware (fromthe bowing Ware family of Dallas?) Seeing a young pot bowler from Dallas defeat the great Holman was priceless enough but seeing Holman have a meltdown because of the crowd was priceless. It didn't hurt that Bowden's wife was the cutest thing I think I have ever seen.

While the crowd's behaviour wasn't great, you'd have to say Holman's arrogant behaviour really brought that on himself there.

I saw a post-retirement interview with Anthony where he answered a question about Holman. He said "that was the real guy, what you see is what you get on the lanes or in a restaurant or wherever". And then, he said something along the lines of the bad behavior being good for the tour because it got people to tune in, whether they hated holman and wanted to see him lose or loved him and wanted to see him win. A crowd cheering something negative is maybe something that will make the crowd members feel bad later, but it should sound like dollars to the event promoters.

@@daw162 yep, having a bad guy or heel sells, much like tits and ass. Just the way it is....

As big a strikeball as Mattingly had, his shot was always totally uncontrollable. It was little wonder he had such terrible TV record.

Holman always was standoffish. You can see it on his face after each shot. Thats why everyone was against him. When being confrontational.....expect confrontation 🤷‍♂️
