After the game the Tennessee bus was behind the North stand gate, near where the cinderblock stairway to the Tech Deck is today. I remember the haunted looks of a team of guys who had just lost 44-0 and faced a long drive home.
What a difference a year made. The game in 80 came down to the end. This was a beat down
