Teach me about these vintage cat exhausts!

What do you need to know. The only thing that I know specifically about building or tuning 2 stroke exhausts is done by mathematical formulas based on the stroke and bore and porting of the pistons & cylinders. It uses specific lengths of the sound waves and pressure waves to create vacuum and back pressure for maximum power at a specified rpm. LOL, you would have to Google that to see the diagrams. There is quite a science to it. These are for tuned expansion chambers for max HP.

I got one of the and doing a top end looked on KZread and this is what I found lol at least I kinda got the background for the sled

@motor oil & beer. I have a 78 jag3000. I have no spark at the plugs. I can get spark on the yellow wires(I believe this is the exciter coil?). But can’t get any other spark/test lights to activate anywhere else. Do I need a cod box and an ignition coil?

I have a 79 jag 300 f/a i got good power from engine to regulator all my switches are good dimmer and break. Lights are good i was wondering how to test the votage regulator.

Would you sell your dash board or you you know where you can get on because you can not find them anywhere on the internet
