    Magnificent in Cerulean Blue Firemist with White Cabriolet Vinyl Top and White Leather Interior along with the great styling of the "all new for 1977 Cadillac DeVilles and Fleetwoods!" What a gorgeous automobile!

    We had neighbors who had a 1977 Sedan DeVille exactly this same color, but with blue velour interior. Excellent car. It was a joy to ride in. You got completely ENVELOPED in those plush seats.

    That is exactly like the one we test drove in 1977. Once all 5 of us were aboard, my Dad felt the downsizing for '77 produced a car that was simply too small. He hated Lincolns, so he ended up buying a huge '77 Chrysler New Yorker Brougham St. Regis.

    WOW! Now that was a huge car, and very gaudy - a big departure from Cadillacs of the era. Did the New Yorker serve him well?

    @@TVHouseHistorian Hi, Scott! Dad loved that car! Everyone in our small town knew it was him as he swooshed along the avenue and, he said, "looked at him with great admiration and respect."

    I had a 1989 Crown Vic silver with a grey 1/4 padded roof , had white wall tires and chrome window vents , it was my "Cadillac ", got about 25 - 30 miles to the gallon 5LT fuel injected . Me and the wife talk about that car and how much we miss it , compared to the 2010 Mazda 3 2.5 that gets close to the same gas mileage I would pick The Crown . Sorry for rambling on . When I was 16 in 1978 I flew in a 1969 Cadillac Fleetwood Brougham .

    Whats up with the steering WHEEL?

  • @jeffreymoffo171

    @jeffreymoffo171

    Those steering wheels were prone to cracking and splitting. Almost all of them ended up getting covered with that 70s vinyl trim that was sold pretty much everywhere back then. The sun did its toll on most of them. ☹️

    @@jeffreymoffo171 Your right Jeffrey. Most likely the wheel had a crack as well since the rest of the car appeared so clean and original. I'm surprised he found a cover that matched so well. Thanks for watching.

    First, what is the price? Second, if t car is as nice a you say and as it looks someone should have spent the extra money and replaced that steering wheel. It definetely draws away frthe overall looks of the car being that most of it looks so good but then you have this $2.98 cover on the steering wheel. I see you change the heading to the right year car.

    Hi JL Neis. Thanks for watching. As for the car it isn't for sale, the video was from a car show. As for the year it was always listed as a 77 never a 78. I had a red on red with white interior 77 coupe with the 425 fuel injected motor back in the day. Great car for sure. Thanks for watching.
