77 Coupes are great!

The last of the good cadillacs, these still had the big V8 engines before they came out with the junky ht4100 engines. My first job as a mechanic was at a Cadillac dealership in the early 80s, and I worked on many of these cars

Oh my God I love this car I had exactly the same one bought mine in 81 second owner only mine what a darker powder blue with a darker vinyl roof with matching color interior minus the moonroof why do I wish I still had that car what a dream it was to drive with that big old 425 under the hood mine had 103,000 on it when I got rid of it still ran like a top although they did have bum Transmissions replace two of them other than that still wish I had it

Sweet 425 Cid good engine, I had a few 77 Sedan Deville's , 78 Fleetwood, those were the downsize somewhat years... I drive an 88 Brougham now... enjoy.

I had one It was a maroon inside and out.with cloth interior..I LOVED IT..

I have a 77 sedan deville and will keep it for ever only drive it once a awhile

What a great car you have! I still remember the new car smell of my aunt’s brand new triple yellow 1977 Sedan DeVille.

Nice 77. I'd love one of these but I settled for a 78 coupe deville in Cotillion white with the mulberry vinyl top and leather interior. I'm the 3rd owner. 50/50 front seats, astroroof, CB radio. Everything works. Bought it with just 02500 miles and it rolled over earlier this year as I have receipts from the previous documenting the miles. 3 things I see incorrect on this car, one of the fillers has been repainted or replaced as it has no pinstripe on it, the horn pad is incorrect (should not have the wreath) and the hood ornament is wrong (should be a see thru crest only)

I bought a brand new Saffron colored Coupe DeVille in 77. I traveled the country in it for 15 years working construction welding pipe. I really miss that car. I loaned it to my little brother one day and he flipped it over and totally destroyed it.🍷😎👌

Cadillac did such a good job downsizing the Caddy's in 1977. Lincoln's attempt in 1980 was not at all successful aesthetically.

I do agree that the Lincoln Continental Mark series was not aesthetically great after 1979 but I do LOVE the design of the Town Car though through the 80s model years!

Hey mate tidy Coupe! Just a quick question.. I'm down here in Australia and I can't find any info on these. All my headlight wiring has been screwed up and I cant work out which lights are meant to be where. My headlights are fine but at the moment my centre orange globes next to the grill are the only indicators. Where are the indicators supposed to be? None of my outside side lights work either. What is the front orange globe on the side meant to be? And what is the rear white globe? Would appreciate your help man I can't get any info anywhere. Thanks bud!!

I had the same car that was destroyed by Hurricane Sandy salt water ruin the car. The car was mint !

Such a shame! Sorry to hear! Mom had a '78 black Coupe Deville and it was a marvelous cruiser! Quiet and solid! I miss those cars!

The Holden Statesman was styled on this Cadillac Smaller than the caddy, big still a big car. Styling similar only the Statesman is more stylish and a much prettier vehicle, not as gordy as the Cadillac
