1974: WINDRUSH GENERATION Recall Arriving in Britain in 1948 | Yesterday's Witness | BBC Archive
In 1948, HMT Empire Windrush docked at Tilbury, with around 500 men and women from the Caribbean.
In this 1974 clip, three members of the Windrush generation, Sam King, Euton Christian and Flight Lieutenant Vidal Dezonie spoke about their memories of the day in question.
