I had a 71 deep brown metallic with tan vinyl top. Favorite car as a young man and only car I ever wrecked. Lady ran a red light in traffic and I t-boned her.

You'll notice that there are a whole shit load of Green cars in pretty good shape from the 70s. Why? Because nobody would be caught dead in an avocado green, gold or silver car except your dad or grandfather. Same way with the four door sedan nonsense. The popularity of the four door didn't roll in until the mid-80s because that's when I started hearing wussies talking about how its easier for their friends to get in. First of all, MY friends all had a job and their own cars and would never sit in the back seat of another dude's car. Dudes would have rather walked than sit in the back seat.
