Every single scene in this would be notated "Professional Driver on a Closed Course. Do Not Attempt" nowadays. Back then that is what you wanted your customers to try out in this awesome truck. Times have changes for sure.

I’m more a fan of the ol’ Fords of the 60s-70s period for 4-wheeling! But I gotta give it to GM for creating these beautiful beasts!!! My older Sis had a bf for a few years that owned a ‘69 K/5 Blazer and I owned a ‘77 Ford Crew Cab/Short bed, that we would take wheeling/camping every weekend during the Summer.. and his Chevy had more of a lift and proper suspension than my rig, so he’d truly blaze through trails more smoothly than my Ford 😎. Was just an awesome truck and memories! I still own my Ford, but just as a simple work/town truck these days.

That is a lot bull crap about the Bronco. My Dad traded his Bronco for a Blazer and the Blazer was nowhere as good an off road vehicle. It was bigger and more comfortable but it would have been left in the dust of rough off roaming and for that matter even snow it was no match for the little Bronco. Also, the Bronco never had a warranty claim. The Blazer had 3 transmissions in 16 months. So much for like a rock. Also, let’s not forget the price difference. The Bronco was a little over $5K fully loaded. The Blazer was $ 7800 and didn’t have a rear seat or carpet. To give a little perspective on that Blazer price, the Corvette sitting beside it on the dealership lot was only $500 more.

Also pretty stupid to compare a Blazer to a Vette. That's apples to oranges. Two completely different target audiences

was GM serious? They were actually comparing their full size blazer to the small sized ford bronco? lol this was stupid. That would be like comparing the chevy silverado to the ford maverick truck. Like why was there even a need to compare the two when it's freaking obvious that the blazer would haul more, tow more and every freaking thing else. lol they must have been really threatened by the small bronco to do something like this. lol

The Blazer was the direct competition to the Bronco. Notice they did not compare the little mule to the Suburban. Even the car media of the day did comparison tests. The facts are that the Bronco came out several years earlier so GM created what they believed to be the better SUV to try and out sell Ford. I'll grant you the video is a bit cheesy, but even though i own the Blazer, I still like the Bronco.
