Do you put a glue on the cases? I really like how precise you make everything. Check and double check and make it all perfect. I watched my buddy back yard build his top. end.Well he got it all back together. And a fifty cent hose clamp off his fuel line fell into his bottom end and well you know the rest..Cause he didn't pull both gas tanks off. Hard to tell someone who thinks they know everything.

i use 3bond for my case sealer if that is what you mean by glue. maybe he will learn after he looses 3 or 4 motors. tatro

Not necessary to have a torque plate while honing?

Just curious, why doesn't Harley go to aluminum cylinders or why doesn't SS do it. I really enjoy your program, I have two sportsters a 68xlch and a newer 2004 and I enjoy them both.

...Well...the 'Big Twins' started with aluminum cylinders with the Evo....1984-5....Sportys now have aluminum cylinders, but I don't know when they started that....

1984 and 1986. all down hill since. 1st thing you do on a race bike is put on some good strong iron cylinders to get some ring seal and head gaskets that don't blow. tatro

Dang...spent good money..........on crooked cases....Yikes...Plus all your time in machine work.... I'd be sick.....
