Ain't that the truth. I bought a 70 Coronet 500 back in 79 for $500. 383 4 727. Now I can't even find one for less than 70k .
When you were backing it into the garage I couldn't help but remember the scene in CHRISTINE when she was backing up into the dark after repeatedly ramming the bulldozer that car of yours is tight ReAL MUSCLE gottaove it👍👍👏👏👏👏♥️♥️♥️
I had that very same car. 383-4spd. 3:73 -8-3/4 limited slip. I paid $400 for her in in 1983.
just so fucking beautiful nothing else to say but fucking beautiful and amazing work of art. a true piece of american muscle. cant talk nothing bad about it.
I've returned to this video again. It's a beautiful car. I'm glad to say I have one in the driveway that I hope will hold a candle to this one one day. Seriously bad ass.
That car can kick ass.... my dad's friend had a 69 roadrunner and it was black with the bench seat and 4 speed manual
Opening scene is trippy man, far out!
That is the meanest looking Mopar ever made
Man I'm only 13 and this shit is just so fucking beautiful, its just so raw, so american..plus its not made from fucking japan

What a sound! Impossible to run a real V8 in the Uk so for now I'll stick to my E30 325. I've loved the Roadrunner and the Charger since being 4 and I'm now 30... rare for an English kid!

Looks like my old runner I had when I was in high school, 1973 . I had to do a touch up on a fender one time , the color code was called catchmecopper, I thought that was cool..

Hi, Danny, Did you live in Sacramento back in high school? I live in Australia and own a 1970 Roadrunner coupe. That was once a copper colour. I found A name plate in the wheel well with the name Danny And a phone number I traced back to a school in Sacramento. I won't disclose the last name here.

GREAT V8 simphony !!!
Love that sound
Burnt Orange '70! My favorite. Hard top, 4 speed, not a GTX, not a Satellite, a *road runner*
Awesome car

Nice car!
That V8 Sound is amazing

HOT STUFF... Straight off the showroom floor, the Roadrunner weighed only slightly more than a 1968 Camaro, but more horsepower, and a lot more torque 425 ftlbs. Big car, but light on its feet if you're a Ford or Chevy guy, do yourself a favor, NEVER TEST DRIVE a Roadrunner... It will ruin your life.

Yes. It has a turbo action race converter and trans brake w/reverse shift pattern. A certified flex-plate. Before that a GER Thunderbolt street/strip converter. B&M shift kit . Started with factory orginal converter and transmission.
worth...ALOT
383...the most under estimated motor, yet THE motor that really gave Chrysler its reputation for the factory with the fastest cars since this engine was in 50 times more vehicles than a 440 or HEMI. The guy burns rubber with Hoosiers (which are slicks for you newbies)..imagine what that car would do with BF Goodrich radials...
bad ass!!!
Sweet Mopar!
my dad has a 1970 plymouth rr
NICE
In the mid 70s I was In hs you could buy those for 1000 we were lucky late 60s muscle cars were used that's what we partied in fun times
Beautiful !!! What size wheels on the back ? Do you know the back spacing . I'm looking to buy wheels now for my 70 , and LOVE the look . Thanks
8.65 in the 8th is about 13.50's in the 1/4 .. not horrible for a mild 383
if you adjust those torsion bars you can raise the front end to launch quicker, 383's are no slouch
@Christoph meister there are some cars Austria just gotta find out were they are.
Exhaust system - headers ?
Also what kind of horse power you putting out ? WOW !!
where'd he run his exhaust at...? dont see it in the back,,, dont see it on the side either
Do you know where I can find parts for a 70 roadrunner

Hell no. It's a Mopar. All it needs is the engine block. Runs on bald eagle piss and Jack Daniels shoots out of the tailpipes. 🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸
At first I thought it only had reverse
Just a tip. At 13 to 1 air fuel ratio, that is a LOT of unfiltered air going into the engine. Just sayin'...

I'd take american muscle over any kind of vehicle you've got other people say ''ow those cars were so underdeveloped those days we've came a long ways since'' yeah right these cars of today are dungwash recalls happening so often as a man having to have to buy toilet paper cars staying running after the ignition switches has been disengaged bump one sensor on on of these new cars and they won't ever start up and you people who say you've got a remake at home don't start cause these new so-called camaros, challengers, chargers, mustangs, etc ain't nothing and can't hold a torch to the originals haven't you noticed these new ''muscle'' cars are actually personal sports cars the challenger hellcat for instants- these are the real and ONLY muscle cars there ever was and ever WILL be there is no other car like the late 60s early 70s ara its said that rising insurance premiums and the 1973 oil crisis ended this great legend and the greatest bunch of cars to ever exist: THE MUSCLE CAR 64-65--73-74 EVERY ONE CONTINUING TO RESTORE MUSCLE CARS DESERVERS METALS ANYONE DROPPING FORTY GRAND ON ONE OF THESE NEW JIVE IMITATIONS OF THE GREAT MUSCLE CARS THEY WILL NECER BE OR BE WORTH DESERVES TO BE SMACKED OVER THE HEAD THANKS TO EVERYONE WHO RESTORES MUSCLE CARS

Not much difference between a 383 and a 440? What about power? In those times "bigger is better" is what they used to say. From factory the 383 had 335 hp the Magnum 440 produced about 370hp, the 440 Six Pack 390hp and the Hemi 426 produced 425hp: If I knew about mechanix I´d be telling you what that difference is but... just an enthusiast
You need different camera guy ......
Why cant i have such in car in that gay country called austria here?!
you have one of the most prize possesions of classic cars t date ..n u treat r that way... shame on u ...n trim that beard..makes me sick..!!...
