Hi, Danny, Did you live in Sacramento back in high school? I live in Australia and own a 1970 Roadrunner coupe. That was once a copper colour. I found A name plate in the wheel well with the name Danny And a phone number I traced back to a school in Sacramento. I won't disclose the last name here.

HOT STUFF... Straight off the showroom floor, the Roadrunner weighed only slightly more than a 1968 Camaro, but more horsepower, and a lot more torque 425 ftlbs. Big car, but light on its feet if you're a Ford or Chevy guy, do yourself a favor, NEVER TEST DRIVE a Roadrunner... It will ruin your life.

383...the most under estimated motor, yet THE motor that really gave Chrysler its reputation for the factory with the fastest cars since this engine was in 50 times more vehicles than a 440 or HEMI. The guy burns rubber with Hoosiers (which are slicks for you newbies)..imagine what that car would do with BF Goodrich radials...

I'd take american muscle over any kind of vehicle you've got other people say ''ow those cars were so underdeveloped those days we've came a long ways since'' yeah right these cars of today are dungwash recalls happening so often as a man having to have to buy toilet paper cars staying running after the ignition switches has been disengaged bump one sensor on on of these new cars and they won't ever start up and you people who say you've got a remake at home don't start cause these new so-called camaros, challengers, chargers, mustangs, etc ain't nothing and can't hold a torch to the originals haven't you noticed these new ''muscle'' cars are actually personal sports cars the challenger hellcat for instants- these are the real and ONLY muscle cars there ever was and ever WILL be there is no other car like the late 60s early 70s ara its said that rising insurance premiums and the 1973 oil crisis ended this great legend and the greatest bunch of cars to ever exist: THE MUSCLE CAR 64-65--73-74 EVERY ONE CONTINUING TO RESTORE MUSCLE CARS DESERVERS METALS ANYONE DROPPING FORTY GRAND ON ONE OF THESE NEW JIVE IMITATIONS OF THE GREAT MUSCLE CARS THEY WILL NECER BE OR BE WORTH DESERVES TO BE SMACKED OVER THE HEAD THANKS TO EVERYONE WHO RESTORES MUSCLE CARS

Not much difference between a 383 and a 440? What about power? In those times "bigger is better" is what they used to say. From factory the 383 had 335 hp the Magnum 440 produced about 370hp, the 440 Six Pack 390hp and the Hemi 426 produced 425hp: If I knew about mechanix I´d be telling you what that difference is but... just an enthusiast
