without these huts only the real hard men would be in these hills ( aka Crumpy ) NZ is blessed with an abundance of Taonga, the hills the animals and the Kiwi's who roam them. Thank you for bringing me home
I recall you mentioning the leak in previous video - really great you went back to fix it! In my opinion NZ’s huts are a national treasure worth looking after.
Awesome work Glen and Co. thanks for the work that you guys do
awesome to see the DOC procedures behind the scenes, good work!

On the way back from the burn I really hate that first bit out of the creek! But it’s worth it in the end. Great video. 👍
Brings back good memories that hut, was part of the Conversation Corps back in the 90's that flew into that hut and painted etc. Then we all walked to Kiwi Mouth to meet the rest of our crew and then walked out the river.....man what a trip. Keep up the great videos really enjoy watching

Hey, how can I get involved? Im 26. Recently made redundant, I'm a qualified carpenter, but have been a site supervisor for the last 4 years building large commercial projects in Australia and New Zealand. Im keen to go back to the bare bones of life for awhile and away from the rush.
Do you take tag alongs, I want to go Kawekas in the roar or this month.
