Wonderfull bike and looks amazing after that restauration. It just hurt a bit to watch you machine the chrome parts with that steel brush. I could not really see it in the video, but it looked a bit like you removed the rust, but much of the chrome too. In that case I think it might get rusty again very soon. I think when accepting a little bit patina being left, there are softer ways to remove rust from chrome.

That rear wheel must have 60 spokes. I always liked the double top tube look as I thought it was a Chinese "Flying Pigeon" at first glance. Nice job.

Why did you weld the handle bar post mechanism? It's suppose to float free and pull up to tighten the post.

very good restoration but the respray let things down you should have applied more coats of paint and you held the can to close spraying is a technique but apart from that its a nice old strong bike ready for many more years service....

Great job... fairly complicated bike.

The freewheel on this bike would probably be compatible with today's cheaper BMX bikes. The pedals on this bike were mounted in an interesting fashion. It is incredible how far we have come with bike tech. I do think bike tech has reached its apex already. The stuff they are introducing today seems like it may not last as long as stuff from last century.

Tough Red Bumper set attached on front axle to safeguard the fork ! Loved the restoration !!

I'm curious, why the add-on to the front forks..? Looks like that red metal piece is to keep the forks from flexing ..? What so wrong with the forks flexing, they are designed to do so to smooth the ride...? Especially as that add -on piece looks very heavy... Thanks...!

When the bike was first made, it didn't look like trash with patina. Now its restored the way a bike should look.
