Great question. I am eager to work on her again someday, but I'm having fun with Dale working on Hendrik. Realistically, it's probably going to be next year before I work on the Mustang again. Sorry about that.

Does it weld through the paint?

Good question. Our whole car has been sandblasted and is completely bare. But I would assume that you need a bare surface otherwise it wouldn't get good electrical contact. You wouldn need to sand or wirewheel the surface bare before doing it.
